3G iPhone Release

According to various reports from around the web, Apple will announce their 3G iPhone some time today. The reports sound quite accurate with many iPhone fans from around the globe eagerly anticipating the 3G iPhone Release.

Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone in June last year, and several flaws in it's design were quickly realised. The biggest feature missing from the iPhone was it's ability to connect to the internet and high speeds, and this is where 3G stepped in.

What is 3G on the iPhone? Well 3G allows the iPhone to connect to the world wide web at speed which rival broadband. 3G is not new technology, it has existed in South Africa for over 3 years now, since the majority of telecommunication users in that country all use mobile phones instead of land lines.

The iPhone has created a big buzz in the mobile arena, and many websites are starting to develope mobile versions of their website to monetize from all the potential the mobile web offers.

The 3G iPhone release will be making world headlines if it is announced today, and beside 3G support the new iPhone 2.0 promises to have a new camera, and 32GB of storage, some all Apple fans will be extremely happy to hear about!
