Once you have signed up with clickbank, you can choose from thousands of products to promote. Each product will have your special affiliate id which is unique to you, so when some one makes a purchase from your link, it will be tracked to you so that you get paid for that sale.

Before you get all excited, you should know that the free methods of traffic generation requires a lot of work and i mean a lot of work. If you have a budget for advertising, then it would help you make money faster through the use of adwords and other ppc (pay per click) programs.

Warning: Don’t try and teach your self PPC because it can cost you a lot of money if you dont know what you are doing!

Although you can make money online without any money to start with, you do need the knowledge on what you have to do before you can do it!

You need to spend at least $$500 on buying how to ebooks and products before you understand the meaning of internet marketing, obviously it would not be spent all at one go, but eventually you will realize that you would have spent quite a fair amount before you are able to make money online by utilizing the free methods.

No matter how you plan on making money, be it online or not, you need knowledge and thats a fact period! whether you get a job or start teaching your own yoga classes in your back yard, the first thing that you need is the knowledge on the subject before you can make money from it.

This is the reason most people who want to make money online fail terribly, because they dont understand the meaning of Internet Marketing and how money online is actually made. Group B: Are the ones who did their research and knows for a fact that Data Entry/Type at home’s are B.S and the only person making the money is the one selling those programs to the people who are still chasing rainbows to find the gold on the other side. (Please forgive me if that sounded harsh but its the Truth! and i stay true to myself)

The people who are in Group B would look at some thing more realistic like selling things that are in demand, like software, phones, Acne Remedy, weight loss etc. Why? because its more realistic and its an actual product which people need every day all around the world. But most of the people in group B will try very hard and give up short of success as well. Because internet marketing is a really broad subject and you need to completely understand it before you can begin making money online.

For example Here is what will happen: They go join an affiliate program that sells weight loss pills, Now they have an up and ready website to promote with their affiliate link inserted. So now all they have to do is get traffic to their site to make sales right? Cool, so they join a traffic exchange program, (To those who dont know what a traffic exchange is. Its basically, you surf 3 website and you get 1 visitor back to your site)

and they get 500 visitors everyday for a week to their site but not a single sale! C’mon, Definitely out of 3,500 people some one wants to lose weight right?

Well maybe… but what you have to understand is that the people who are in traffic exchanges are exactly the same as you, they too surf 3 sites for 1 visitor in exchange, hoping that some one will buy the perfect product that they are promoting.

So now surfing for 16 hours a day with no results has become frustrating and very tiring, plan B, pay for visitors, “10.00usd for 10,000 unique hits to your website!” Wow all i have to do is spend 10usd for 10,000 unique visitors to my website, im sure out of ten thousand random people some dude or dudette needs to lose weight right, Seriously! how many thin people can there be, out of ten thousand random people? 10,000 no way?

Then go check your stats the next day 10,000 unique hits, you think WOW, better go check my sales asap and see how much i made. So you login to your affiliate merchant account to find that the out of 10,000 people each of them left you with a unique 0! and you know why?

Because most of these companies use scripts to generate the hits. But as far as you are concerned “what the heck it was only 10usd and they did send me the visitors”, all this company needs is 100 people to buy this package each day and they make 30,000USD per month. (just in case you were wondering why they do it!)

80% give up at this point, and the very few who are determined will continue their journey. Now realizing that they have tried and failed using various methods, they decide to join a mentoring program, and within the mentoring program they will learn exactly what they need to do to make money online. So the lessons start and they immediately get smashed with information overload.

There are so many lessons that you dont even know which one to begin with and some of the lessons require you to spend more money, which you obviously dont want to do, as the methods taught within the membership has yet to show any promise that you are guaranteed to make a single dime online, At this point our only natural instinct is to cut loss.

Now, obviously you can take your time and learn all the lessons at your own pace… but that was not why you joined the membership site right! you joined because you wanted to make money right. Now you’ve been subscribing to the membership for 3 months and have yet to see a single red cent, but there are people who joined that membership site and started averaging 300usd per day within only 2 weeks, so you think to your self what have i done wrong?? i did everything they told me to! So you try to seek help from members who have already achieved success but they tell you things that you already know or tell you to stick with the membership and continue doing the lessons and you will eventually make money or they would just brand you as a whiner. Then you think to your self “i have been here for 3 months and thats the best you can give me?”

Eventually you will learn that The Successful people within those sites are far to busy to help you and the ones who are just achieving success are afraid and paranoid to the MAX of competition to their new found methods.

At this point, most of the remaining 20% of people who were determined to make money online give up because they feel that they have done everything they could to try and make money online but still did not succeed and have probably been branded a whiner.
